"Measuring Success One Skill At A Time"

Does your loved one show signs of withdrawal, problem behaviors, ritualistic behaviors and social skill and/or communication deficits? Autism is a developmental disability defined by its symptoms. Characteristics of Autism include impairments in social interactions, impairments in communication and repetitive patterns of behavior. Autism is on the rise and increasing 10-17% each year. Scientific studies indicate that early intervention is the key to effective change. At Shaping Behavior, the Autism Prograhas been developed to help families with loved ones diagnosed with Autism, PPD or Asperger’s Syndrome. This program has been developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and utilizes principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to change behavior. ABA is backed by over 40 years of researchand is still considered to be the most effective treatment for dealing with behaviors associated with Autism. Ashley will strive to teach skills that foster independence in the people she serves. Together with family, schools, professionals and community members, we work as a team to provide the best quality of life for each individual.
